Tami Wheeler grew up on a farm in Vale, Oregon, where she learned early the value of hard work, integrity, and a strong work ethic. After high school, she moved to Boise to attend Boise Bible College, earning an Associate’s degree in Christian Education.
Tami married her husband, Nate, in 1996, and the two later moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, while Nate pursued his Master’s degree. After completing his education, they returned to Idaho to raise their family. Tami spent 12 years primarily as a stay-at-home mom to their three children, Samuel, Shawn, and Bethany, while also operating an in-home daycare and working in residential real estate.
In 2012, when her youngest child began full-time school, Tami joined Legacy Wealth Management as its receptionist. What began as a front-desk position grew into a career as she continually took on new responsibilities, learned the wealth management industry, and became increasingly involved in the operations and leadership of the firm.
Today, Tami serves as Executive Director of Administration and is a voting member of the Legacy Wealth Management Board. Her responsibilities span human resources, administration, firm operations, budgeting, advisor support, and organizational initiatives. Having grown with Legacy for more than 14 years, she brings a unique understanding of both the people and the business behind the firm.
Tami is passionate about building strong teams, creating a healthy workplace, and helping Legacy continue to grow and evolve while staying true to the relationships and values on which it was built.
Outside of work, Tami's greatest priority is her family. She and Nate have been married for 30 years and are proud parents of three adult children. Her Christian faith remains an important part of her life, and she enjoys serving in her church and spending time with family whenever she can.
